TEMPERATURE AND VELOCITY DISTRIBUTIONS ON THE OPERATION FLOOR IN A BOILING WATER REACTOR BUILDING.

Author(s) : TAKAMORI K.

Summary

THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE THE TESTS CARRIED OUT IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE FLOW RATES AND OPERATING TEMPERATURES OF A REFRIGERATING SYSTEM FOR AIR CONDITIONING IN THE BOILING WATER REACTOR BUILDING WHERE 3 POOLS ARE LOCATED: FOR THE REACTOR, REFUELING AND SPENT FUEL. THEY DEVELOPED A MODEL FOR CALCULATION AND OPTIMIZATION. THE PERFORMANCE OF THE OPTIMIZED SYSTEM IS 1,100 MEGAWATT.
