Summary

In commercial refrigeration plants with secondary refrigerants individual control for the different cooling spots have not been used normally. The mass flow of the secondary refrigerant to the different coolers have been adjusted only by mechanical valves to reach the correct temperatures. The paper shows that the results can not really satisfy even with an enormous amount of effort. These problems can be solved by a new system using real time data for the control of steady secondary refrigerant valves. This allows to keep the supply temperature of the secondary fluid as high as possible to meet the correct temperature of the goods.
