Summary

THE CHEMICAL HEAT PUMP IS A NEW ENERGY STORAGE AND MANAGEMENT PROCESS IN RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS, BASED ON REVERSIBLE SOLID-GAS REACTIONS FOR TEMPERATURES RANGING BETWEEN 263 AND 393 K (-10 AND 120 DEG C) AND PRESSURES BETWEEN 10 AND 1 KILOPASCAL. A MODEL WAS MADE OF A 1 KILOWATT PUMP ADJUSTED TO THE HEATING OF A TEST CELL. IMPROVEMENT OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER MECHANISMS BY THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INERT BOND (EXPANDED GRAPHITE). NUMERICAL SIMULATION AND READJUSTMENT ON A TEST UNIT. MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF THE OPERATION OF THE SOLID-GAS REACTOR, BASED ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE TEMPERATURE TRANSIENTS OF SOLIDS AND LIQUIDS. CALCULATION OF A CONTROL ALGORITHM FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE VARIOUS OPERATION STAGES. RESULTS AND MEASUREMENTS.
