Summary

REPORT OF A THREE YEAR EXPERIMENT AT THE LABORATORY OF THE SIEMENS FIRM (ERLANGEN, FRG) ON THE PERFORMANCES OF A HEAT PUMP (AIR-WATER) INTEGRATED IN A HEATING SYSTEM (GAS) FOR DOMESTIC USE. THE SYSTEM IS DESCRIBED (USING THE METHANOL-LITHIUM BROMIDE/ZINC BROMIDE COUPLE), IN WHICH THE BOILER OF THE HEAT PUMP IS HEATED INDIRECTLY (BY MEANS OF A HEAT EXCHANGER) BY THE BURNER OF THE BOILER. THE RESULTS ARE ILLUSTRATED BY GRAPHS AND COMMENTED UPON. IN CONCLUSION THE ADVANTAGES, DRAWBACKS AND LIMITS TO USE ARE DISCUSSED. J.R.
