The analysis of account of the rectification process at production of superpure nitrogen in the independent cryogenic module.

Summary

The paper analyses the results obtained using an independent module for producing superpure liquid nitrogen. The analysis assumed that when throttling liquid nitrogen into the rectifying column of the independent module which consists of product concentrating and distillation sections, hydrogen and inert gases (Ne and He) dissolved in the liquid nitrogen were fully transferred into the resulting vapour phase, while in the liquid phase, besides nitrogen, oxygen, argon and carbon oxide with hydrocarbons remained. Therefore, the nitrogen content of the initial liquid to be separated was assumed to be the same as that of the superpure nitrogen.
