Summary
In this paper, the evaluating indexes and methods for the availability of the large temperature difference in an air-conditioning system is discussed. The air-conditioning energy consumption rate for both the large temperature difference air-conditioning system and the conventional air-conditioning system is introduced based on the condition of the same initial investment, it makes the evaluating indexes of the large temperature difference air-conditioning systems universalized. According to the basic thermodynamics and the variable condition analysis of the main equipment in the air-conditioning system, the energy consumption rate and the qualification of all kinds of large temperature difference air-conditioning system is presented. The key parameter of a general air-conditioning system are calculated; it indicated that the temperature difference should be less than 12.8, 9.2 and 10°C for the cool air distribution system, chilled water system and cooling water system respectively.
