Summary

Illustrates the air conditioning double ceiling system schematically and explains its functioning. Describes a computer program for the steady state temperature distribution and the heat flow densities. Uses this information as a basis for an investigation of the non-steady behaviour. The system has been used successfully in an office building in Stuttgart since the winter of 1991/92 and a manufacturing hall since April 1995.
