Summary
The paper introduces high-rise construction, air conditioning demand, energy and environment in Shanghai. An investigation is made of two hundred buildings, most of which are under construction, in terms of air conditioning systems and cooling and heating sources, etc. Finally, some problems are pointed out in building services and construction management.
