The design and optimization of the cryogenic system for BEPC II.
Author(s) : LIANG W. Q., LIU L. Q., GONG L. H., et al.
Summary
A cryogenic system has been proposed and the design has been carried out for the Beijing Electron Positron Collider II (BEPC II). The system with 800 W cooling capacity at 4.5 K will serve three users: SCQ magnet, SC solenoid magnets and SC cavities. To satisfy each user's special working requirements and run economically, a programme has been developed to simulate and optimize the flow of the cryogenic system.
