The development of the advanced air cycle.
[In Japanese. / En japonais.]
Author(s) : IKEUCHI M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Air is the ultimate natural refrigerant with no adverse effects on the environment. Although the air cycle has been made practical, its performance does not exceed that of the conventional refrigerator. Therefore, the market for air cycle technology is limited. The author performed research on an advanced new air cycle which uses the latent heat of water in the air-cycle system. Results of simulation and tests are reported.
