Summary

AS ONE OF THE METHODS FOR IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF GAS TURBINE, THE AUTHORS HAVE PROPOSED A CYCLE OF COOLING THE SUCTION AIR WITH A VAPOUR COMPRESSION REFRIGERATOR AND HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT THIS CYCLE CAN IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE OF GAS TURBINE CYCLE. SEVERAL KINDS OF TYPICAL REFRIGERANTS WERE SELECTED AND AN ANALYSIS WAS MADE OF THE DIFFERENCE OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CYCLES ACCORDING TO THE REFRIGERANT AND ALSO THE CHARACTERISTIC PERFORMANCE, REQUIRED IN THE ACTUAL PLANNING, OF THE COOLING SYSTEM.
