Summary

The effects of liquid subcooling and the heat input on the circulation mass flow rates, pressure and temperature distributions, and heat transfer coefficients in the evaporator were examined experimentally, using water, ethanol, benzene and R113 as the working fluids. The circulation mass flow rates, pressure and temperature distributions were theoretically calculated and compared with the experimental results.
