Author(s) : VYTLACIL D.
Summary
These proceedings in two volumes contain 198 papers presented at this conference, held in Reading, United Kingdom, 9-12 July 2000. The air distribution in occupied spaces is a major issue of public concern. It is widely recognized that the quality of air and the nature of airflow can affect the health of occupants and the energy consumed in buildings and transport vehicles. Chapters are: Volume 1: Keynote papers: provide good air quality for people and improve their productivity; the quality of buildings is equal to the indoor climate quality; optimised indoor air quality and energy saving strategies for quality buildings in Mediterranean climates: compatible objectives with comfort and environment issues? sustainability, energy and cost. indoor environment; predictive methods; air distribution. Volume 2: ventilation strategies; system efficiency; applications.
