Conditioning system for individual protection against NBC and major technological hazards.
Author(s) : MASSON Y. le, PAGAT J. M.
Summary
The article presents the results of SP DEFENSE research on the thermal regulation for people who are wearing protection clothes against NBC (nuclear, bacteriological and chemical) and major technological hazards. The air under the airtight suit becomes rapidly saturated with perspiration water vapour. The idea was to reactivate this natural phenomenon by using a ventilated jacket through which the ambient air is channelled to the skin of the user.
