The influence of area-specific ventilation rate on the emissions from construction products.
Author(s) : GUNNARSEN L.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Describes experiments using small-scale climate chambers. Emissions from pieces of linoleum, waterborne acrylic paint, nylon carpet and sealant were quantified at different specific ventilation rates by a trained sensory panel and chemical analysis. Presents and discusses the results. For high ventilation rates the emission rates stabilised and became independent of ventilation.
