Summary
The paper shows the results of an theoretical analysis of the metastable flow phenomena during the two-phase refrigerant's throttling process inside the capillary tube. The effect of the metastable flow region outlet refrigerant parameters and real working parameters of capillary tube is presented. Necessity of consideration of the metastable flow region in the new methods of calculation and selection of the capillary tubes is noticed.
