Summary
Today, the use of high buildings is unavoidable, and these kind of buildings are the greatest energy consumers in the building industry. so with regard to the earth energy reduction sources on one hand and also the inability of the earth recycling the vast amount of the produced wastes on the other, this issue has convinced the designers and builders of this buildings to use the optimum materials and useable energies during construction and use. In this paper an attempt to introduce functional methods in energy consumption mititgation and the use of sustainable energies thanks to examples.
