Summary
Air conditioning systems are large consumers of energy. How to save energy has created more and more interest in the world. The paper analyzes in detail the energy consumed by chilled-water system. It is quite evident from the calculation results that variable speed pumping can save a large amount of energy, about 80% or so, compared to constant-speed pumping.
