The minimization of test costs of twin screw compressors by use of a comprehensive mathematical model.

Author(s) : FLEMING J. S., YAN T., COOK G.

Summary

The paper describes how empirical flow and friction coefficients for use in a mathematical model of the working process of a twin screw compressor may be determined from two tests only, one at the lowest pressure ratio, the other at the highest, with a consequent significant reduction of test costs.
