The neutral height in a room with displacement ventilation.

Author(s) : XING H. J., AWBI H. B.

Summary

Theoretically, the neutral height is the height where the air flow balance exists, i.e. the total upward flow rate is equal to the supply flow rate. The paper presents the way to calculate this neutral height according to several parameters, among which are the location of heat sources and the plume flow rates above the heat sources.
