Summary

In the paper, the possibility of the use of heat pipes in low-temperature technologies of dehydration of liquid foods is shown. The mathematical model of a conjugate heat-mass-transfer is represented for freezing of solutions. The results of experimental research (cryoseparation of solutions, juices, extracts, whey) and also generalization of obtained data are presented. It is shown that heat pipes' application reduces the power consumption in technologies of low-temperature separation of liquid foods.
