Summary

Three Hylocereus undatus cultivars were introduced to Fujian, China, and tested at a place with a mean annual temperature of 21 °C, a mean minimum monthly temperature of 17 °C, and annual sunshine of 2130 hours. All cultivars performed well under the local conditions. The best one, the red-skinned and red-fleshed cultivar Zunlongguo flowers in early June and matures from mid-July to the following January. It has large fruits, oval in shape, weighing 400-1000 g; the fruit skin is pink, the flesh is red, tender and fine, very juicy, with a soluble solids content of 11.2-16.3. The fruit can be stored in air for 15-20 days.
