Summary
The authors have constructed a small refrigerator for pressurized helium II using a helium 3 circulation system. The refrigerator was designed to have 1 watt cooling capacity with a evacuation pump of 500 liters/minute and 70 liters helium 3 gas at normal temperature and pressure. The performance of the system under the static heat load and the behaviour of the system for a pulsed heat generation in pressurized helium II are presented. The results show the usefulness of this system for refrigeration of pressurized helium II.
