Summary
The design of a helium 3-helium 4 dilution refrigerator is described. Its construction is based on placing an experimental cell into a tapered stopper, which, in turn, is placed in a tube connecting the evaporation and mixing chambers. This construction allows one to position mechanically driven impedance matching transformers near the experimental cell.
