Summary

SPERMATOZOA SURVIVAL DECREASES WHEN THE LIPOPROTEIN RATIO IS LOWER THAN 1/67, COMPARED TO 4/76 FOR EGG-YOLK LIPOPROTEIN. THE ABSOLUTE LIPID RATIO IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE RATIO ITSELF. EGG-YOLK LIPOPROTEIN IS USED FOR SOLUBILISING LIPIDS AND TO FIX THEM TO THE CELL MEMBRANE (SEE ALSO ABSTR. 78-0321). (Bull. CNRS, FR., 81-361-15204.
