The Russian concept for heat pumps technologies and possibilities of Russian market.
Author(s) : KALNIN I., OZOROVICH Y., KOLPAKOV V.
Summary
There are many reasons for power engineering experts to turn to nontraditional ways of heat supply. It is difficult to predict the demand for HPs in the Russian market. Future requirements of HPs are expected to be 25,000 machines per year, including 500 plants with a heating capacity exceeding 100 kilowatts. If such a modest programme is implemented, a HP stock of 100,000 will be set up over four years, which will save primary energy. Introduction of non traditional energy sources, particularly HPs, requires economic incentives. First of all, reduced tariffs for electric energy should be set for the users of electric HP.
