The study of a new exhaust heat powered rotary wheel solid adsorption unit tube.

Author(s) : LIU Z., WANG Z., HAO Y., et al.

Summary

In this paper, the performance and thermodynamic mechanism of an engine exhaust-powered adsorption refrigerating system was analyzed firstly; one-dimensional non-equilibrium mathematical model was established to describe the performances of unit adsorbent bed. The mathematical models of the adsorption unit tube were established and a computer simulation of the system was devised. The test bed for investigating the performance of zeolite molecular sieve-water unit tube was developed. It was concluded that the performances of unit tube were excellent.
