Summary

THE ANISOTROPY OF THE UPPER CRITICAL FIELD NEAR CRITICAL TEMPERATURE IN A CUBIC CRYSTAL AND ALSO IN THE BASAL PLANE OF A TETRAGONAL CRYSTAL IS CALCULATED WHEN THE SUPERCONDUCTING ORDER PARAMETER TRANSFORMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ONE OF THE DEGENERATE REPRESENTATIONS OF THE ROTATION GROUP. ANISOTROPY OF UPPER CRITICAL FIELD NEAR CRITICAL TEMPERATURE IS ABSENT IN THE BASAL PLANE OF A HEXAGONAL LATTICE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE NATURE OF THE SUPERCONDUCTING PHASE.
