Summary

THE WESTERN ZONE OF NAPLES HAS CONSIDERABLE RESERVES OF GEOTHERMAL ENERGY WITH DIFFERING ENTHALPY LEVELS. GIVES THE RESULTS OF THE FIRST PHASE OF A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE UTILISATION OF THE GEOTHERMAL LOW TEMPERATURE FLUID IN TWO SUBURBAN ZONES OF NAPLES. THE EXISTENCE OF THE GEOTHERMAL SOURCE GIVES A REAL VALUE TO THE STUDY, ALTHOUGH IT IS SIMPLY AN EXAMPLE. IN FACT THE SOURCE HAS A HIGH ENTHALPY BUT IT HAS BEEN TREATED AS A SOURCE OF MEDIUM-LOW ENTHALPY AS THOUGH IT WERE THE WASTE HEAT OF A HEAT AND POWER STATION. (INT. BUILD. SERV.
