Summary

Some researchers experimentally obtain that the addition of LiBr can improve the performance of NH3-H2O absorption refrigeration system. This paper theoretically investigates how the mass fractions of NH3 and H2O change when adding LiBr in NH3-H2O solution, and analyzes the COP of NH3-H2O-LiBr absorption refrigeration system. Besides, the presence of LiBr has a negative effect on the absorber, thus negatively affects the performance of the system. This paper describes a new absorption system that uses an electrodialysis device as a separation process to limit the effect of LiBr to the generation side.
