Summary
Measurements were made of heat transfer between the air and banks of steel tubes with aluminium fins. The characteristics of the tubes, the fins and the banks (ie, staggered or not) are given. The results are generalized through similarity equations for Reynolds numbers varying from 3,500 à 32,000. The results obtained are described and discussed. The pressure losses were also measured. The experimental results are compared with those from calculations. C.C.
