Summary

During investigation from 15 to 260 K, the thermal conductivity of silver-gold alloy tapes decreased drastically at low temperatures with increasing silver content after the heat treatment necessary to realize the superconducting wire. By contrast, the thermal conductivity of silver-copper alloy tapes hardly decreased because of oxidation of copper during the heat treatment.
