Summary

THIS STUDY DEALS WITH THE THERMAL, AIR CONDITIONING AND VENTILATING MODELLING AND THE DIGITAL SIMULATION OF THE UNSTEADY STATE OF A WALL INCORPORATING A HEAT EXCHANGER BETWEEN THE EXHAUST AIR AND THE FRESH AIR SUPPLY OF PREMISES. THE THERMAL BEHAVIOUR OF THE WALL SUBJECTED TO DIVERSE CLIMATIC CONDITIONS IS EXAMINED THROUGH THE STUDY OF THE EXCHANGER EFFICIENCY AND INTERNAL CONDUCTIVE FLUX. THE STUDY OF THE WALL RESPONSE TO VARIOUS AIR FLOW RATES CLEARLY REVEALS ITS LOW THERMAL INERTIA. THE ENERGY INTEREST IS UNDERLINED AND THE COMPARISON OF SIMULATION RESULTS WITH EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS, FOR SOME SPECIFIC CASES, MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO VALIDATE THE MODEL.
