Summary

FOR THESE COOLING MEDIA, THE AUTHORS PRESENT AN EQUATION DESCRIBING VERY ACCURATELY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THERMAL CAPACITY AND CONCENTRATION AND TEMPERATURE, 30 DEG C TO THE EUTECTIC. A SIMPLE RELIABLE METHOD FOR THE EXTRAPOLATION OF THERMAL CAPACITY DATA IN THE DOMAIN OF LOW TEMPERATURES TO THE EUTECTIC WAS ELABORATED. THE EQUATION PROPOSED AND THE METHOD ELABORATED ARE ALSO USED FOR AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS OF METAL CHLORIDES.
