Summary

Compares both experimentally and numerically the radiant ceiling panel system and conventional air conditioning systems in terms of thermal comfort, energy consumption and cost efficiency. States that the radiant ceiling panel system creates a superior radiant environment while cooling; it can create a smaller vertical variation of air temperature while heating than a conventional system, draughts are eliminated, lower energy consumption for air transport is achieved and the system obtained more votes for comfort.
