TO RECEIVE AN ATP-FRC CERTIFICATE FOR REFRIGERATING TRUCKS, IT IS NECESSARY THAT THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT OF THE CARGO-SPACE NOT EXCEED 0.4 W/M2. K. IF FOR TRAFFIC OR LOADING REASONS THE SIDE-WALLS MUST BE THIN, A SANDWICH STRUCTURE WITH A CORE OF R11-EXPANDED PUR FOAM IS PREFERABLE, BECAUSE OF LOW HEAT CONDUCTION. BUT WITH AGE, THE THERMAL INSULATION DIMINISHES STEADILY. THE PAPER PRESENTS SOME RESEARCH FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM.
