THE LINEAR THERMAL EXPANSION OF ZERODUR (A GLASS-CERAMIC) HAS BEEN MEASURED FROM 20 TO 300 K AND THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY FROM 2 TO 100 K. FOR EACH PROPERTY THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE APPEARS TO REFLECT THE COMPOSITE NATURE OF THE GLASS-CERAMIC.
