Thermally developing forced convection in a porous medium: parallel plate channel with walls at uniform temperature, with axial conduction and viscous dissipation effects.
Author(s) : NIELD D. A., KUZNETSOV A. V., XIONG X.
Type of article: Article
Summary
A modified Graetz methodology was applied to investigate this phenomenon. The Brinkman model was employed. Analysis led to expressions for the local Nusselt number, as a function of the dimensionless longitudinal coordinate and other parameters (Darcy number, Péclet number, Brinkman number).
