The paper explores from a theoretical stand point the possibility of utilization of the exhaust gases of a turbocharged diesel engine as an energy input to a vapour absorption refrigeration system for producing a cooling effect for the combination of pre and inter cooling of the charge air, which is a modified form of the intercooling systems.
