Summary
AN UNIVERSAL EXERGY METHOD IS PROPOSED FOR DETERMINING THE THERMODYNAMIC EFFICIENCY OF REFRIGERATING MACHINES WHICH ARE NOT ELECTRICALLY DRIVEN. CALCULATION RESULTS ARE GIVEN FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF MACHINES: WATER-LITHIUM BROMIDE AND AMMONIA-WATER ABSORPTION MACHINES ; WATER-VAPOUR AND HALOGEN-VAPOUR EJECTION MACHINES ; TURBINE-DRIVEN HALOGEN MACHINES ; /CISTJAKOV-PLOTNIKOV MACHINES AND TURBOCOMPRESSOR AIR MACHINES DRIVEN BY A VAPOUR TURBINE.
