Summary

The molar heat capacities of crystalline potassium dichromate [K2Cr2O7 (cr)] and aqueous K2Cr2O7 solution (0.1699 mol/kg) were measured in the temperature range from 100 to 390 K and from 80 to 370 K by an automatic adiabatic calorimeter equipped with a small cell of internal volume of 6 cm3, respectively. The thermodynamic data of K2Cr2O7 (cr) and the solution were derived from the heat capacity data and the relationship of thermodynamic functions.
