Thermodynamic performance of selected HFC for geothermal applications.
Author(s) : INVERNIZZI C., BOMBARDA P.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Describes an investigation of the thermodynamic efficiencies of selected HFCs for applications in binary geothermal conversion systems. Following examination of thermodynamic cycles, interactions with sensible heat sources were considered. States that for every working fluid there is a temperature range for optimal use. Concludes that each fluid is best applied with a heat source at a temperature somewhat above the critical fluid temperature.
