Summary
This article presents a thermodynamic simulation of single-effect ammonia/water absorption refrigerating systems. An analysis of the air conditioner, based on the system's fundamental data (its refrigerating capacity and three temperature levels), makes it possible to identify a thermodynamic simulation model and to determine the physical bounds for operating conditions. Simulation highlights the influence of some parameters on the system's COP, especially at low pressure.
