THERMOFLUID, a computer software for thermodynamic properties.

THERMOFLUID, modélisation thermodynamique de cycles frigorifiques.

Summary

Mathematic models allow the accurate calculation of the thermodynamic properties of refrigerants and the establishment of tables and diagrams commonly used to calculate and size refrigeration plants. With the development of microcomputers and the advent of new fluids, it makes sense to use the same models to provide refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians with a modern simple and reliable tool, to enable them to study installations with precision. The authors review the equations used and their mode of resolution, and then develop software characteristics in detail.
