TRANSPORT PROPERTIES AND SURFACE TENSION OF PURE AND MIXED REFRIGERANTS.

Author(s) : JUNG D., RADERMACHER R.

Summary

FOR ABOUT 17 HALOGENATED PURE AND MIXED REFRIGERANTS, COMPARISON IS MADE BETWEEN MEASURED VALUES AND CALCULATED VALUES FOR SEVERAL PROPERTIES, SUCH AS GAS VISCOSITY, THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY AND SURFACE TENSION. ALTHOUGH FOR SEVERAL RESULTS, A LARGE SCATTER WAS OBSERVED IN THE DATA, THE CONCLUSION IS THAT THE COMBINATION OF EXPERIMENTAL DATA AND PREDICTION METHODS WOULD BE SUFFICIENT TO HELP ENGINEERS AND RESEARCHERS IN THE REFRIGERATION FIELD DESIGNAND DEVELOP NEW EQUIPMENT USING OZONE-SAFE PURE AND MIXED REFRIGERANTS.
