Summary

The results of an historical and statistical review of the present state and trends of equipment market for frozen food companies are given. The construction and retrofitting of stores and equipment for the production of quick-frozen foods in the USA, the storage volume in the European Community, the percentage of families having a home freezer in France, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland are described. The situation in Australia, Japan and New Zealand is briefly given. C.C.
