Summary
The AFF (French Refrigeration Association) has set up safety training for persons working in ammonia installations. This training meets the requirements defined in the Decree published on July 16, 1997 (see Bull. 98-2, ref. 98-0911) governing this type of plant. Two training centres, the Association Matal Formation and the "Centre de formation aux techniques de la réfrigération et de la neige" (Refrigeration techniques and Snow Training Centre) (CFTRN, York), have met the requirements.
