Summary

34 FROZEN EMBRYOS, AGED SEVEN DAYS, WERE TRANSFERRED TO HEIFERS WHICH HAD BEEN INSEMINATED IN SYNCHRONIZED OESTRUS. PREGNANCY WAS NOTED IN 13 ANIMALS. IN THREE CASES TWIN-PREGNANCY WAS FOUND AND THREE SINGLE PREGNANCIES WERE DIAGNOSED ON THE IMMUNOLOGICAL BASIS AS A RESULT OF TRANSPLANTATION. ALTOGETHER DUE TO TRANSPLANTATION SIX EMBRYOS WERE OBTAINED, IE 18 PERCENT OF ALL THE TRANSPLANTED GERMS.
