Summary

The results of experimental investigations of absorption refrigerators with heat pipes and thermosiphons are presented. Use of heat pipes in absorption refrigerators and freezers makes it possible to reduce the temperature level by 7-8 deg C and decrease energy consumption by 7-8%. Use of thermosiphons also increases the potential of domestic refrigeration equipment.
