Summary
Simpler equations based on Ziegler's equations were derived to make computer simulation of the performance of these refrigerators possible. The results of computer simulations using simple equations and Merkel's enthalpy diagram, respectively, were compared with the actual experimental data of one-stage ammonia-water absorption refrigerators. The results from Ziegler's equations were found to agree with experimental data better than those of Merkel's enthalpy diagram.
